Wow! What a great cafe! I had the grilled chicken chef salad and it was AWESOME!! Everything was super fresh and plenty of dressing! Our waitress was spunky :) All the food coming out looked amazing... for sure going back!

Pay $5 a day to park your truck there

Had the steak sandwich that you could chew on all the way to Omaha. Not impressed at all. They pushed the cake and it was 4 bucks for a slice. Seems high to be for what it was. Wont ve returning.

This place has been one of my favorite stops. Never had a bad meal here. And the prices are reasonable. Also the staff is very friendly.

I only went in to find a souvenir. They didn't have any. But there were lots of folks eating so it must be good. The lady I did speak with was a very nice lady. Maybe someday if I'm over that way I'll stop and eat.

6 p.m. on Wednesday. Not busy Not Dead. Old-time truck stop. Had their special under $10. Side salad goulash drink and soft-serve ice cream. It might just be me but it seemed like the goulash was a little on salty side. And I couldn't taste any tomato flavor. The good news is it came out to hot. Yes I would eat there again by might not have the goulash

They do such a great job there. They really treat you like family. Jess is an excellent server and takes care of us even when we aren't lucky enough to be in her section.

Great food! But the best part of it all was our waitress! She was amazing! Full of life, joking with everyone, making sure everyone was doing good. She made the stop in the restraunt well worth it! Just wish I could remember her name. But she was one of the best waitresses that I have had in a LONG LONG time. (She's from Boston originally). Absolutely enjoyed having her for our waitress.

It has been probably twenty years since I last ate here and not much has change. There is a reason for that, it is that freaking good. It might not be good for your cholesterol but when you are hungry at 11 PM it hits the spot. The huge buttermilk pancake is amazing, homemade sausage patty yum. And the service is incredible. Definitely a throwback and not for somebody looking for something fancy.

Wonderful breakfast and waitress. Biggest pancakes we've ever seen. A real buttermilk pancake. They even bring you the little silver cup with heated syrup. Haven't seen that in years. Sausage links are great. Nice interior and atmosphere. We'll definitely come again when we travel thru.

In town just for the weekend and ate breakfast here this morning! it was phenomenal! I loved the welcoming feeling we got just walking in!

Home type of foods to choice of. Different types of soups. Also you get filled up. Wonderful pies root beer with ice cream. Great.

Good Food, good folks, a Siouxland original for late night food. Breakfast is always a hit. i like the corn beef hash. Pancakes are great. The hamburgers are also good and don't forgot the fries.

Dinner was awesome- 3 of us had the road kill special, big portion so you won't leave hungry. Service was top notch. We will definitely return. I highly recommend trying them out if you want good homemade food.

Excellent old school truck stop food, served in hearty portions at a good price. Homemade Pie is available if you have any room left. There's even Ice Cream!

Had breakfast here it was good. The waitress kept our coffee cups full. If you are ever in south sioux city stop in and give it a try!

Breakfasts are excellent but the omelettes aren't the best. Avoid the chili omelette. That's not chili! I like their burgers. Quite small and very old fashioned. Their hot roast beef is huge. Pancakes are gigantic but actually cooked well, which is hard on those big pancakes. Their famous for their pies. Meh. Their cream pies have about six inches of that really gross white stuff that was all the rage when I was a kid. If that's your thing, this is your place.

The food is very good and service is too! I recommend coming here. The slices of pie are huge, and very good too!! I stopped by again for another meal and was very pleased with my chili and cheeseburger. The burger special came with a slice of pie. I chose the peach pie and asked the waitress to heat it up but she forgot. It was a delicious pie but would've been great if it was hot!Over all I still say the food is great and the service was very good!!! I'll be back again.

This is the kind of little roadside place that doesn't look flashy on the outside, but is clean and comfortable and lets the food do the talking. Honest meals, reasonably priced. We went there the first day we were in town and had no trouble deciding to go back the second. Recommended.

Visiting from San Antonio. Breakfast ok. Wanted over easy eggs and I got fried eggs instead. Cook needs skills. Waitress great customer service.

This place is absolutely horrible, dirty, food was nasty, and if you’re trying to eat something somewhat fresh and healthy well it’s not going happen here. I wanted veggies with my shopped steak and I was told they have none and don’t offer them. Instead I got a double salad that was only iceberg lettuce if I wanted tomatoes it was extra.
